What's on your mind?
Is this wiki still active? Just wondering. Nobedy has responded and there are no posts...
Is Wicked THAT underrated ☹️
No? Okay well if you do, then just don’t read this page, don’t worry it is related to wicked. Okay- *takes deep breath*
I HATE PEOPLE HATING ON BOQ!!!!!
Now don’t get me wrong, I love all of y’all, and people not liking Boq is understandable after- you know- the whole “I’ll be heartless killing her” thing. But seriously I don’t think that we can completely blame him for this and here’s why-
Now throughout this whole musical Boq had one goal and one goal only, and that was to win over G(a)linda. That’s all. He asked Nessa to the dance to impress her, he agreed to continue watching over her to do the same thing, and when given the chance to be free the first thing he does is he wants to go and confess to her before she gets married. (I mean, obviously crushing on Galinda is a bad idea in the first place but that’s besides the point) All of his troubles start because he had a heart in the first place. Fist because he fell for Galinda. Then in an attempt to impress her, he asks Nessa out, who instantly becomes attached. Then, when trying to break the news to Nessa that he really didn’t like her, he felt awful about hurting Nessas feelings and did what his conscience (idiotically, I’ll admit) told him to do. Soften the blow. You can tell by the look on his face (at least in the show I watched) that he didn’t mean to make Nessa fall for him even more, it just happened.
Then comes servitude. Nessa figures out that maybe Boq doesn’t like her as much as she hoped and, in a desperate attempt to keep him by her side, forced him to be her slave, and ridding the rest of the Munchkins of their rights in the process. This is not entirely his fault, it’s mostly Nessa’s, and I mean, who can blame him for having trust issues after that sweet looking girl in a wheelchair turned on him?
Next is when Elphaba comes to visit. Boq has already has basically his personality taken from him. He’s bright red cap and cheerful demeanor both stripped from him and replaced with robotic politeness and a grey beanie. All he’s used to is betrayal and a broken heart. So when Elphaba shows up, how was he supposed to know she wasn’t as evil as her sister? Especially when the rest of Oz, including the Wonderful Wizard were proclaiming so! It’s not like he wasn’t willing to give them a chance. When he found out Nessa could walk he wasn’t worrying about defending himself with his little pen knife anymore he was worried about Glinda, going even so far as to grab Nessa’s hands.
Finally, he is turned into a tin man. Boq certainly didn’t deserve this fate, as I’m sure most would agree, after all, all he wanted was the girl. But the poor boy was forced into this anyway, by a girl he had been so kind to in the past.
Now is kind of where people start hating him. And once again, I see their point. But listen to mine. If someone forces you to be evil, and I mean like, casts a spell on you that forces you to be an evil mastermind. Is it your fault that you are a bad person? Of course not! You didn’t choose to hurt those people. I think about it in a similar way for him. He didn’t choose to be heartless. He was forced to be that way. I guarantee if you had walked up to that cute shy boy from Act 1 and asked what he would do to someone if they turned him into a walking pile of metal he would’ve responded “kill them”. I mean just try to imagine that blue suited boy saying that. It’s like impossible! You can only think of him saying that as a tin man. Which is why I think of them as two different people. I love Boq. I hate the tin man.
You guys are all welcome to your own opinions. I just wanted to rant really quick because I always see people hating on him and it drives me insane. Thanks for letting me do that here :)
*looks back and realizes I wrote a 96 page essay on why people shouldn’t hate Boq* oh dear lord….
I will love to see her on Dolly Parton’s heartstrings.

And It is still stuck in my head. I love it!
So you know how Fiyero is actually the scarecrow, who supposedly doesn't have a brain. Fiyero mentions this a couple times in the lyrics...
"Life is painless, for the brainless" (dancing through life"
"maybe I'm brainless, maybe I'm wise" (as long as your mine"
I will love to see her on finding your roots.
Elphaba Thropp: Rachel Schurr
Glinda: Leah Reed
Fyierro: Sam McLellan
Nessarose: Kristy Fuller
I think that she should be on the show Dancing with the stars,
Hi I am new to the Fandom, I am from the Hamilton wiki. Is there any rules I should know about?
The galleries are currently a mess, we have two Glinda galleries that I'm working on turning into one, we need to formulate image naming policies so that its easy to find all of them and I believe it will be helpful if we make every gallery into the same naming format as Glinda/Gallery, I'm working on improving the galleries but I'm not sure what our naming policies should be, which is why I'm leaving this here so that I can hear feedback on the galleries and formulate an image policy.
I propose that we separate the book and musical pages so that the characters with wildly different stories don't get squished together in an awkward page format. I think that the page would have tabs and they would be Elphaba and Elphaba/Musical ect. The sections In the Novels and In the Musical would be separated into Appearance and History. This will help to get to Musical information quicker and it will separate the very different characters, it will also help with pages like Dr. Dillamond, Elphaba, Fiyero and Madame Morrible so that the Novels page will call them deceased and show their deaths but the Musicals can show that they are alive in the infobox and intros. Leave your thoughts on this change.
zach love's wicked number 1 halloween show
When I went I saw Caroline Bowman (Broadway 2014-2015). Was anyone else at that performance (Gershwin Theatre)? It was SO COOL
Saw this play 2x and I loved it, but I was hoping for India and Kristen for Elphba and Glinda (no offense)
Random Question - How many Elphabas or Glindas were only with one location/company? Off the top of my head, I can think of Lindsay Mendez, Mandy Gonzalez, Victoria Matlock, Carrie Manolakos, Rachel Tucker, Alexia Khadime, Louise Dearman.
