Ig "Chef" Baernaereanaesis was a member of the staff at Mockbeggar Hall in Out of Oz, serving as Lady Glinda’s chef.

Chef is one of the selected servants whom Glinda chooses to stay with her when Cherrystone places her under house arrest at her home, Mockbeggar Hall. He prefers to be called by his profession, "Chef" as his full name is difficult to say, but Glinda executes his full name perfectly when she first addresses him.
Cherrystone would ultimately have him drowned in retaliation to the performance by the Clock of the Time Dragon.
