Crope and Tibbett are two characters exclusive to the novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of The Wicked Witch of The West. Both are friends of Boq, who he meets while working a summer job at the Three Queens Library. It is implied that they are both gay and may be a couple. They are both from the Emerald City, are flamboyant, and enjoy wearing costumes.

While attending Shiz University, he and Tibbett help out Boq and Elphaba in their research over the summer, and he later joins the main group of friends. He also attends Ama Clutch's funeral.
After college, he and Glinda seem to have become close friends, as he is seen shopping with her in the Emerald City and having tea together with Fiyero.
He is mentioned to be an actor and is managing an arts auction house.
Tibbett[]
Tibbett is the son of an Emerald City palace security adviser and a character who appears in Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Biography[]
While attending Shiz University he assists Elphaba Thropp in her research and joins her inner circle of friends. When the group goes to the Philosophy Club, he is chosen for a sex show. Though the act is left unfinished, it is implied a Tiger sodomizes him.
An adult Tibbett is brought into the Cloister of St. Glinda with an incurable disease. It is never revealed what this illness is or how he got it, though some speculate it was due to the aforementioned sex act.
Before dying, he encourages a maunt Elphaba to choose her own path in life, which is what makes Elphaba leave to seek out Fiyero's family in The Vinkus.
