I'm Not That Girl is a song sung by Elphaba after the Lion Cub Scene.
In the German production, Wicked Die Hexen Von Oz, the song is named Ich bin es nicht and translates to "It's Not Me". In the Japanese production, the song is named Watashi Janai, which translates to "Not Me". In the Dutch production, the song is named Ik ben het niet, which translates to "I'm not".
Context
During the scene, Elphaba sings about how she will never be loved by Fiyero. This unquenchable thirst for his love occurs because she so much believes that Fiyero is "in love" with the "perfect" Galinda. She is convincing herself, and the audience, that she could never have Fiyero. In her mind, her flaws outweigh her good. Galinda would be a much better match for him. Much to her surprise, the story doesn't always go as planned.
