Karis Musongole is an actress who in 2024 went onto portray the character of a Young Elphaba[2] in Wicked: Part I.
Biography[]
On November 21, 2024, Musongole called the filming of Wicked as "just amazing", and mentioned how being a part of the aforementioned film had meant a lot to her, adding that both the set and the people involved had been "beautiful". In addition, Musongole joined her co-stars on the green carpet at the film's London premiere. She also went onto say that she enjoyed playing the young Elphaba, who was "very smart and humble, but because she's green-skinned, she gets picked on".[3]
