Sister Cook is the head chef of the Cloister of Saint Glinda.
She is often given autonomy by the Superior Maunt, as long as she follows the strict cuisine outlines in the Cloister’s charter (no eating of Animals). However, Sister Cook’s cuisine is often described as being regrettable and her kitchen environment is said to be bad.
On the other hand, Sister Cook usually takes on Quadling novices as cooking assistants; one example of this is Candle, whom Sister Cook says makes a good marrow gravy.
